Entrants: The contest is open to all individuals who are at least 18 years of age. Employees of Urban Intellectuals, their immediate family members, and persons living in the same household are not eligible.
Residency Requirements: Open to residents of the United States and Canada.
Contest Period
Early Bird Entries: January 15
Main Contest Period: January 16 - February 28.
Winner Announcement: February 29, live by Freddie. Must be present online to win.

Prize
Trip to Africa: One grand prize consisting of a trip to Africa on an Urban Intellectuals Travel Movement tour. The eligible trips are Ghana, Senegal, and South Africa in the fall/winter of 2024. The tour is valued at approximately $5,000. It does not include international airfare. It does include accommodation, domestic travel, activities, and select meals.
Limitation: The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
SELECTION OF WINNER
Random Draw: The winner will be selected through a random draw from all eligible entries.
Notification: The winner will be announced live on February 29 and must be present online to claim the prize.
