You are in luck. For the first time ever, Urban Intellectuals is putting together a contest to test your Black history knowledge, but also test your puzzle skills. Many say they have the patience, eagle eye, and drive to complete puzzles, but with this contest, we are putting you to the test.

The first person to complete our Black History Mystery Puzzle and identify all 10 people included will win the first prize of $3,000.
There are also consolation prizes for 2nd through 10th place.

What is it?
We have a 500-piece puzzle for you to assemble. The catch is that we aren’t giving an image of the completed puzzle, so you have no idea what it looks like or who is involved. The only hint we are providing is all 10 people included in the mystery puzzle are in volumes 1 – 5 of our Black History Flashcards.
So if you have all 5 volumes of our flashcards, you have a real good headstart over those who don’t.

Once you put the puzzle together, the names of the people involved aren’t included, so you have to identify them. You can either know who they are by their images, try to look them up on the internet, but the intelligent competitors will make sure they have all five volumes of our Black History Flashcards at their home. It makes identifying the people easier.

1. Eligibility
Black History Mystery Puzzle. The “Contest” is open to legal residents of the fifty(50) United States and the District of Columbia who are at least (18) years old at the time of entry. Employees of Urban Intellectuals and their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, and immediate family members of each employee are not eligible. The Contest is subject to federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
2. Sponsor
The Contest is sponsored by Urban Intellectuals, located in Hazel Crest, IL.
3. Agreement to Offical Rules
Participation in the Contest constitutes the entrant’s full and unconditional agreement to and accepting these Offical Rules and decisions of the Sponsor, which are final binding. Winning a prize is contingent upon being compliant with these Offical Rules and fulfilling all other requirements herein.
4. Contest Period
The Contest begins on February 06, 2023 at 12:00 A.M. EST and ends on March 31, 2023, at 12:00 A.M. EST (the “Contest Period”). Entries that are submitted before or after the Contest Period will be disqualified. Submissions will be accepted for the duration of the Contest using any of the following methods,
- Online entry that includes: Picture of the Puzzle, with the names of the individuals in the photo.
5. How to Enter (to play or win?)
Online: This method of Entry will be available by visiting our website (UrbanIntellectuals.com/MysteryPrizeEntry) and following the directions to fill out the entry information, and submit it.
Limit #1 of entry per person, per email address, and per household for the duration of the Contest Period, regardless of the method of entry. Entries received from any person, email address, or family in excess of the stated limitation will be void.
6. Prize Drawing
The Contest winners will be determined by the date, time, and accuracy of the Mystery Puzzle.
The contest winners will be chosen at the discretion of Urban Intellectuals, Inc. All contest winner announcements are final unless they are found to be in breach of the terms and conditions laid out above.
7. Important Notes
Your first entry only is accepted via our entry form. Changes cannot be submitted once the entry has been sent. Family of Urban Intellectuals’ employees not eligible. Decisions on winners are final and made by Urban Intellectuals. A w9 will be required to collect the $3000 prize. Tax obligations are the responsibility of the prize winners. Submissions must include the purchase email address for verification
